For 2019 Chevy Camaro models, General Motors has introduced a variety of new features that were installed to enhance the driving experience for Camaro owners. The 2019 Camaro has a revised front bumper, a new infotainment system, and a new performance package for all of the four-cylinder models.

Which Trims & Features are Available for 2019?

The 2019 Chevy Camaro is available in 7 different trims with 13 different configurations. The main trims are the Camaro 1LS, Camaro 1LT, Camaro 2LT, Camaro 3LT, Camaro 1SS, Camaro 2SS, and Camaro ZL1. Every trim aside from the Camaro 1LS has a convertible variant for drivers that would like to put the top down.

The features of the 2019 Chevy Camaro add a lot of value to the powerful coupe. Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and OnStar are all included as standard features for the revised infotainment system of the Camaro. 4G LTE connection and Wi-Fi hotspot are also included as subscription services with OnStar. On more premium Camaro models, the infotainment screen is upgraded to an 8-inch screen.

The smallest 2.0-liter inline-4 engine produces 275 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The larger 3.6-liter V6 engine produces 335 horsepower and 284 pound-feet of torque. The largest 6.2-liter V8 engine layout produces 455 horsepower and 455 pound-feet of torque in Camaro 1SS and Camaro 2SS models. However, the power for the 6.2-liter V8 engine is increased to 650 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque in the Camaro ZL1. There are choices between an 8-speed automatic transmission, a 6-speed manual transmission, and a 10-speed automatic transmission based on the model that a customer chooses.

The 2019 Chevy Camaro has experienced slightly different fuel economy in comparison to the 2018 Camaro models. The Camaro 1LS utilizes premium fuel for its turbocharged engine and is capable of achieving an estimated 22 miles per gallon in the city and 31 miles per gallon on the highway. The V6 engine models are capable of achieving as much as an estimated 19 miles per gallon in the city and 29 miles per gallon on the highway.

Chevy has included a display for the rearview camera in the rearview mirror of more premium Camaro models. Premium Camaro models also come with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking sensors. In the event of a collision Chevy has installed protective features, such as front knee airbags, to protect the occupants of their Camaro models.
