What's New For The 2019 Chevy Express?

Manufactured for commercial use, rather than commuting, the Express has been gradually updated over the years. With the 2019 model year, it is still in its first generation of production, with a facelift that was applied back in 2003. You can choose between the Passenger Van, which has a standard seating of 12 and the option to expand maximum occupancy to 15; and the smaller Cargo Van.

Which Trims are Available for 2019?

The 2019 Express Passenger Van is split into LS and LT trims. Each trim is further split into a half-ton 2500 model and a ¾-ton 3500 model, which is also available with a longer wheelbase. (This variant is labelled "Extended Wheelbase" to set it apart from the original, or "Regular Wheelbase.") The Cargo Van version is available as a lone trim (i.e., WT), with the 2500 and 3500 body sizes split into Regular Wheelbase and Extended Wheelbase.

Depending on trim combination, you can spruce up the van with options such as a deluxe front console with a storage bin, Bluetooth wireless technology for audio streaming and hands-free phone calling, a Wi-Fi hotspot for Internet access at 4G LTE speeds, 12 months of GM Commercial Link for a host of vehicle management tools, cruise control, remote keyless entry, remote start, a tilt steering wheel with leather wrapping, a stereo system with AM/FM radio and a single-disc CD player with MP3 playback capability, steering wheel-mounted controls, and three months of SiriusXM radio.
